Abstract

The purpose of the ACICLOPEDIA is to build an index of categories organized in alphabetical order, comprising entries that explore the meaning of the notion of form beyond the academic canon that for centuries has ruled education within the design and architecture, the arts and humanities. Thus, the project aims to deepen into previously stated ideas which stress the conceptual, visual, and textual boundaries of form, usually understood as the external configuration of something. In order to build this compendium, we have invited a group of authors to contribute with different entries by critically developing texts and diagrams of thought, which are published in this index. The authors, through a randomly assigned alphabetical letter, have conceptualized a word which constitute then the central element to develop their texts or images.
