Abstract

Dendritic structures based on tetraarylmethane. The invention relates to dendrimers of formula I, formed by radially stiffened tetrahedral units of tetraphenylmethane of type AB3, interlinked with each other by means of rigid linear connectors. The invention also relates to intermediate dendrons of formula II, and to a very versatile method for preparing dendrimers of formula I.
