Stabilization of periodic orbits in variable structure systems. Application to DC-DC power converters

Abstract

A method to stabilize periodic orbits in switching topology systems is proposed. The method only requires knowledge of the times when the target orbit changes the topology and is specialized to bilinear systems, which constitute a general model for DC-DC power converters. Several simulations for the buck and Cuk converters are presented.
