Abstract
The present work is about the characterization of composite materials with thermoset polymeric matrix, orthophthalic polyester type and reinforcement with Cuban zeolite particles from San Andres, Holguin. Authors used different methods like sifted, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-rays diffraction, thermal analysis and cation exchange volumetric methods to analyze zeolite particles. The composite material was analyzed, with the use of test-tube, by mechanical test (hardness, traction, impact).
