Un caso teratológico en Grammicosum flavofasciatum Blanchard (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) de Chile
Keywords: teratology, Araucaria-Nothofagus, burned forest, hemibrachelytry
Abstract
A teratological case is reported in Grammicosum flavofasciatum Blanchard, 1843, based on a female adult specimen collected in a burned forest of Araucaria-Nothofagus located in the Tolhuaca National Park, La Araucanía Region, Chile. A unilateral hemibrachelytry present in the middle and apical portion of the left elytra is reported and described. We discuss if the observed condition is related to the environmental stress derived from the fires that occurred in the area
