Objetivos: To link water column distributions of dissolved Fe species with nutrient and metagenomic/ metatranscriptomic data of microbial communities with focus in the secondary nitrite maxim of the OMZ in the north of Chile, to identify likely NDFO bacterial groups and their potential role in iron cycling.
