Abstract

En el presente se establece una aproximación a la relación existente entre las semióticas involucradas en la ritualidad de la Fiesta de la Tirana y los cambios sociales existentes en el Norte Grande de Chile. Se reflexiona específicamente en torno a la figura de la Virgen, haciendo una apuesta por una creación histórica de ella como un personaje, creación que se plantea ha estado vinculada con los periodos, coyunturas y acontecimientos acaecidos en Los Andes y el Norte Grande de Chile. The article establishes an approximation to the existing relationship between the semiotics involved in the rituality of the Fiesta de la Tirana and the existing social changes in the “Norte Grande”* of Chile. Specifically, it considers the figure of the Virgin, positing a historical creation of the Virgin as a character, a creation that this article argues has been intertwined with the periods, junctures and events of the Andes and the “Norte Grande” of Chile.
