Abstract

For long-term protocols of oral dosage, voluntary administration is the easiest way with the lowest level of stress on animals. These advantages may outweigh many of the complications of the intragastric gavage technique. Here we describe an effective and reproducible technique for long-term voluntary oral administration of solid compounds to mice in peanut butter.
