Neural network wavefront sensor for the Large Binocular Telescope Observatory

Abstract
Wavefront sensing (WFS) in the context of Adaptive Optics requires intensive computational processing for the reconstruction of the wavefront. In this work, an artificial Neural Network will be trained based using real Pyramid WFS data in order to estimate the Karhunen-Loéve modes of the Large Binocular Telescope Adaptive Optics system.
