Abstract

Forty years after the military coup of 1973, Chilean society is still trying to settle accounts with the Unidad Popular project. This book aims to contribute to that search through seven original studies that address emblematic aspects of the thousand days of Popular Unity. The intention is, once again, to recover that counterpoint between celebration and drama that so deeply marked the experiment led by Salvador Allende.
