Abstract

rGO functionalized materials were synthetized through basic treatment, nitrogen doping and nickel nanoparticles decoration, obtaining active catalysts for CO2 methanation reaction. Nitrogen-containing species formed upon doping turn into CO2 adsorption and activation sites, which can be tuned to enhance de performance of Ni/rGO catalysts.
