Abstract

Software product lines are a reuse-centric approach, based on the definition of software similarities and variabilities. Feature models (FM) are the most used among the notations to manage variability. Instead, configuration models result from selecting features following a set of established rules. The objective of this work is to develop a tool that allows FM to be configured through a web application. The iterative and incremental methodology was used for development, and a set of functional tests to evaluate the tool. Among the main results is that the tool successfully configures the imported FM and passed the validation carried out. It is possible to conclude that the tool meets the design objectives, since it allows the necessary files to be exported so that they can be consumed in a next stage.
