Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel use of extracts of Quillaja saponaria that can be used to produce a medicinal composition for the prevention and control of a bacterial disease in fish, which composition is administered orally, preferably combined with food. The invention also relates to the medicinal composition and the food composition which comprise said extracts of Quillaja saponaria, for the prevention and control of a bacterial disease in fish.
