QUESTIONNAIRE OF ATTITUDES TOWARDS FAIR PLAY AND LEADERSHIP OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to elaborate and analyze the evidence of validity of the scores of an instrument for measuring the attitudinal component of fair play and leadership for 5th and 6th grade students who participate regularly in the subject of Physical Education. The methodological process integrated two pilots, analyzing the reliability, validity and fairness (impartiality) of the instrument scores, by means of evidence of content, internal structure, and psychometric analysis of the parameters of omission, difficulty, discrimination and differential functioning of the items. The results revealed a proposed Likert-type scale instrument with 16 items, of which 8 correspond to the leadership construct and 8 to fair play. Although the analyses of the instrument scores report evidence of validity, the evaluative intentionality should only consider a formative use in favor of evaluation for learning.
