Abstract

This paper constitutes a state of the art aimed at contributing to the understanding of the general and international aspects in which historical research has advanced concerning labor flexibilization processes. At the same time, the importance of a dialogue with the contributions from other disciplines that have addressed the transformations in the fields of work since the last decades of the 20th century is recognized. In this sense, the history of work, with its focus in the processes of labor flexibility, requires inserting itself into the global dynamics of the capitalist economy. In this way, national historical experiences are articulated, both in their particularities, and in their relationships with historical processes that extend beyond national borders. © 2023, Universidad de Concepcion.
