Abstract
Objective: To analyze the scientific production published in indexed journals on organizational learning in universities to understand its influence and application in higher education. Design/Methodology/Approach: A bibliometric analysis was conducted, considering the following stages: (1) Definition of search criteria, (2) Search in the Scopus database, (3) Data extraction, (4) Analysis of keyword concurrence, (5) Analysis of co-authorship between countries, (6) Analysis of article abstracts, (7) Interpretation of results. Results/Discussion: The bibliometric analysis revealed a limited production of articles (297) published in just over 200 journals, with more than half of the production concentrated in only 8 countries. No highly productive author was identified, with the highest number of documents reaching only 4. Conclusions: This study provides an overview of the existing scientific production on organizational learning, highlighting the identification of journals and countries with the highest publications, the most productive and cited authors, and accepted document types. Originality/Value: The originality of this research lies in its combined approach of bibliometric analysis and methodology review, providing a comprehensive view of the existing scientific production and evaluating different approaches in studying organizational learning in universities
