Abstract

The domain of organic catalysis has been advanced by the incorporation of polymer-supported organic catalysts. The introductory chapter provides guidance to the fundamental principles and outlines the complete book. The chapter begins with the introduction of heterogenous catalysis followed by the development of polymer-supported organic catalysis, highlighting the advantages offered by polymer-supported organic catalysts. The chapter is summed up with a short discussion of each chapter included in this book.
