Abstract

The process of the democratization opened by the first government of the Concertacion (1990-1994) mobilized several mechanisms for the preservation of the authority, promoting a series of repressive actions that tended to immunize the transitional process. That was the case of the revolutionary left, disarticulated under the premise of the preservation of the democratic stability and the fight against terrorism.
