Abstract

In this paper we study Brezis-Nirenberg type results for radial solutions of a semilinear elliptic equation of the form {(- ? u = ? C (| x |) u + B (| x |) | u |q - 2 u, a.e. x ? BR (0) ? RN, R > 0,; u = 0, on ? BR (0)) where ? ? R, q = 2, and the weights B, C are appropriate positive measurable radially symmetric functions. © 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
