Rancière’s Reading of Foucault: Overlays, Connections and Projections Rancière lector de Foucault. Superposiciones, conexiones y proyecciones
Abstract
This article explores some encounter points between Michel Foucault and Jacques Ranciere. In our opinion, in their respective works it is possible to notice proposals that, despite their differences, are in many aspects convergent and complementary, which allows us to renew the keys of reading their contributions based on the diagnosis of superpositions, connections, and projections. The axes of the analysis are the gap between words and things or the fragility of the distribution of the sensible, the value of history, the subversion of distribution of the sensitive, and the distances and differences around policy and biopolitics.
