Abstract

Reviewing programming assignments has become a time-consuming and critical activity for academics. Various feedback and automatic grading systems have been proposed in response to this problem. This article presents a review of various systems and automated feedback approaches for grading programming assignments to provide an overview of the functions of these systems and their challenges.
