Motivation, Attraction, Retention, and Permanence of Women in IT and STEM careers
Abstract
The motivation of women to study STEM-related careers does not increase over the years. This article presents an exploratory review to identify factors, current initiatives and models that favor and hinder adolescents and women from studying and staying in careers linked to these vocational training areas. Among the most outstanding results is the visualization of a pattern as a role model and the influence of parents.
