Abstract

University Social Responsibility (USR) is understood as a management model, an educational policy, and an approach to university administration, based on the implications of its core functions. In this regard, it is essential to establish standards and benchmarks that enable effective comparison of institutional outcomes. The objective of this study is to analyze USR and quality indicators in Chile. The study adopts a quantitative design and uses the Latin American QS Ranking as its data source. The findings make it possible to propose a scale that contributes to the assessment of USR from various perspectives within the Chilean context. The information generated by this research may be used in the design of educational policies and institutional strategies aimed at creating value for educational communities. Finally, the importance of incorporating different analytical strategies is emphasized, as these contribute to a better understanding of the phenomenon due to its impact on academic excellence and its implications for society.
