Abstract

This article reflects on the object of Social Work and analyzes some repertoires of prevailing paradigms, emphasizing the recent social debate surrounding human, non-human, and care relationships. A posthumanist perspective is proposed, inviting us to rethink Social Work from a more multidimensional perspective. In conclusion, we propose an approach to a posthuman object in order to critically analyze the way in which certain realities, formed by various human and non-human elements, are sociomaterially constructed.
