CREATIVE THINKING AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: DESIGN AND VALIDATION OF A SCALE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract
Creative thinking is recognized as essential for enhancing personal and social well-being and for addressing contemporary challenges. Developing creative thinking skills contributes to the achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thus, integrating creative thinking with the SDGs provides individuals with tools necessary to implement sustainable practices. The objective of this research was to design and validate a scale for assessing creative thinking skills from the perspective of sustainable development in university students. The main contribution is its emphasis on the development of creative thinking skills from an SDG perspective. The findings suggest that fostering these skills can drive innovations that benefit society in times of uncertainty.
