Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between the dimensions of knowledge management creation, sharing, and application and the organizational performance of primary and secondary education institutions. Using a quantitative and exploratory approach, surveys were administered to teachers and administrators with experience in educational management in institutions located in southern Chile. The analysis was conducted through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that knowledge creation, sharing, and application have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. These findings invite not only a reflection on institutional efficiency, but also on the role of knowledge in schools as a common good oriented toward human development. From a philosophical perspective, the study emphasizes the need to promote a knowledge management approach that integrates technical capacity with ethics and educational transformation. © 2025, CONICET - Emiliano Aldegani.
