Development, Reliability and Validity Rootedness Evaluation Scale in Social Expert Reports for Social Worker
Keywords: scale, rooting, social work, expert social, mixed concurrent approach
Abstract
This study validates a multidimensional scale for assessing Social Expert Reports in Social Work, grounded in an ecological model of integral rootedness. Eight dimensions (family, residential, social, employment, economic, educational, health, and territorial/community) and four differential types (addictions, migration, religious, and intercultural) were identified. A concurrent mixed-methods desing combined statistical analysis of 18 questionnaires with focus groups of six expert social workers. Results demonstrated the scales reliability and validity while revealing variability in internal consistency and structural influences. Findings underscore the need to address expert subjectivity, ethical tensions, and social exclusion in forensic assessments supporting judicial decision-making. © 2025 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
