Abstract

One of the great challenges for university teachers when adapting their face-to-face classes to virtual ones is the creation of multimedia resources for online learning that allow them to continue with the students' professional training process. The creation of videos for asynchronous classes is an option that many choose, however, this tool can be even more effective if interactivity is added, this is where applications such as Edpuzzle become a considerable alternative because it allows adding questions to videos to make them interactive. In this paper we present the implementation process of Edpuzzle, for teaching cost accounting (c-cost) in the training of students of Commercial Engineering (EComer) in a state university. The descriptive design study allowed obtaining the opinion of 72 students regarding the class methodology used. After the experience, it is concluded that it is a useful and effective strategy to use in asynchronous and face-to-face classes, since it allows the student to internalize and understand the contents better, to participate actively in the classes and to receive immediate feedback from the teacher.
