Abstract

Changes in attention and emotional processing play a pivotal role in the development and manifestation of psychiatric disorders such as anxiety and depression. In this study, we introduce a novel AIpowered experimental design tailored for eye tracking and pupillometry based clinical studies. This design integrates balanced and luminance controlled standardized emotional images with AIgenerated personalized images for participants to view, enabling investigation of emotional processing of personally relevant stimuli, which is particularly impacted in clinical populations with depression and anxiety.
