A New Analytical Model of Gain in Highly-Saturated SOAs

Abstract

This contribution presents a new analytical model in good agreement with experimental data for gain in highlysaturated SOAs. This model, based on Lambert W function, only needs two parameters and offers fast-computing simulations. © 2025 IEEE.
