Abstract
This document analyzes the gestation of a language related to the professionalization of football in Chile between 1941 and 1945. It works the idea that the circulation of knowledge linked to the professionalization of the activity originates in the writings of Alejandro Scopelli in the Estadio magazine. Methodologically the article emphasizes the chronicles, opinion columns, and interviews that were dictated by Alejandro Scopelli and published in the magazine. © 2023 Universidad Adolfo Ibanez.
