Abstract

This work performs a bibliographic review to analyze the main trends, issues, and the evolution of research on sustainability in supply chains during 2012 and 2021. The study follows a heuristic research methodology and systematic review, based on the compilation of the information, descriptive analysis, and the investigations' evaluation. The analysis determined scientists' most used tools and models for sustainable supply chains at the strategic, business, and operational levels. The results found a lack of research about KPIs and methods to measure the significance of reverse logistics and Circular Economy in sustainable supply chains.
