Molecular Anchoring with 4-Mercaptobenzoic Acid and 4-Aminothiophenol for Using Active Nanorods in the Detection of Dopamine
Abstract
Highlights The activity of nanorods and the influence of a linker on the activity of the nanosystem on dopamine oxidation. The study shows that molecular linkers with a similar structure but carboxy terminal decrease the resistance to charge transfer, generating sensors that are more sensitive to the detection of dompamine. Sensitivity for detection is dependence of resistance to charge transfer.
