Keywords: Authentic leadership; Job satisfaction; Organizational commitment; Telework
Abstract
This article presents the results of a study whose objective is to determine whether there is an effect of authentic leadership on the characteristics of teleworking, and its impact on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. To do this, surveys have been applied to the administrative staff of universities based in the BiobÃo and Ãuble regions of Chile who carry out teleworking to carry out their functions. The results of the analysis of structural equations indicate that authentic leadership affects the three characteristics considered (autonomy, lack of information and isolation), that job satisfaction is affected by isolation and lack of information and that organizational commitment is affected by the autonomy.
