Abstract

This study aims to characterize the scientific output of the Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educaci & oacute;n, indexed in the open-access platforms Scientific Electronic Library Online and Redalyc, through a descriptive bibliometric analysis. A total of 661 articles published between 2002 and 2024 were examined, using indicators such as keywords, authorship, country of origin, language, research design, subject areas, and citation indexes. Data were systematized in spreadsheets and complemented with metrics extracted using Publish or Perish, from platforms such as Scientific Electronic Library Online, Redalyc, Google Scholar, and OpenAlex. Key findings include an average of 25.03 authors per issue, 6,112 citations across multiple databases, predominance of Spanish (94.95%), and international collaboration led by Spain, Brazil, and Mexico. The most frequent keywords were "Higher Education", "Education", and "Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)". The results indicate that the journal demonstrates continuous growth in production and citations, strengthening its relevance within the Ibero-American open-access publishing ecosystem.
