Abstract

Considering Children’s participation from their own perspective regarding identity and civic culture is one of the instances to evidence participation and social inclusion. This research includes local boys and girls from the Strait of Magellan, specifically Tierra del Fuego and has been intended to highlight how civic culture framed within a communitarian and social participation process guarantees fundamental children rights by means of fostering local identity so as to develop a civic culture from and for boys and girls.
