Abstract

The following article analyzes the development of herstory or “herstory” in Chilean feminist literary criticism. This analysis aims to show the central theoretical lines that give argument to the different perspectives that have been developed in this context. To this end, a contingent map is drawn in order to show the main forces that have shaped this critical perspective, without pretending to be exhaustive or panoramic. The reading proposal of this article is that gradually the discussion around the relationship between history, power and canon has made it possible to glimpse a fabulous axis around the concept of “we” that deviates from universalisms and stereotypical identities. © 2025 Universidad Catolica Silva Henriquez.
