Abstract
This paper presents a corpus study on the heteroglossic potential of the conversational markers bueno, mira/mire, oye/oiga and a ver in Chilean Spanish from a systemic functional approach. These resources are analyzed in the oral corpora AMERESCO (Albelda y Estellés, 2010) and PRESEEA (2014) when they are part of heteroglossic movements in discourse (presence of several voices). A sample of 87 cases was formed, among which oye/oiga presents higher occurrence than bueno, mira/mire and a ver. The results point out characteristics such as the literal character of the quotations, the integration of the explicit voices introduced by a verbal process (dicen, dijo, dije), their use as support or empirical backing of the authorial voiceâs account or opinion (discursive evidence not subject to questioning). In relation to the options of the engagement system, the options of extra-vocalization (own external or external external external) are presented, they contract or expand the dialogic space. © Los autores.
