Abstract

A comparative chemical study of three Chilean Cupressaceae, viz. Austrocedrus chilensis (D. Don) Pic. Serm. et Bizarri, Fitzroya cupressoides (Molina) Johnston y Pilgerodendron uviferum (D. Don) Florin was undertaken. The isolation and structural identification of terpenoids and flavonoids is reported. The compounds were isolated by chromatographic methods and characterized based on their spectroscopic data.
