Abstract

This chapter addresses the evaluation of indoor environmental quality (IEQ) in public school classrooms in Chile, focusing on the gap between measured physical parameters (thermal, luminous, and acoustic) and user perception (students and teachers). The findings highlight the critical role of spatial orientation, building envelope performance, and active spatial management in achieving adequate comfort levels for learning activities.
