Sintesis de 17?-hidroxiprogesterona desde androstendiona

Abstract

The preparation of 17 ?-hydroxyprogesterone from the precursor androst-4-en-3,17-dione is reported. Androst-4-en-3,17-dione was obtained by biotransformation of a mixture of steroids isolated from tall-oil. The compounds obtained in this synthesis were identified by infrared, mass and proton magnetic resonance spectrometry.
