Abstract

This is a descriptive study that carries out a didactical analysis on the basis of theoretical foundations plus methodological, curricular an cultural research work performed during the elaboration of a school text in the field of language teaching for Mapuche children carry out by universitary teachers and Mapuche cultural advisers. Three units are reviewed from the perspective of sociocognitive learning theories, based on the methodological proposals in the official language curriculum, intercultural principles and the theory of social represeentations which makes possible to enrich the intercultural phenomenon studies.
