The teaching of hypertext and its impact on academic quality: a case study

Abstract

The popularity has acquired Internet use among young are important changes in the way they read and writing today . To what extent fragmentation of the information produced by Internet influences literacy low academic quality ? How do the students university with hypertext ? What skills should develop to stimulate teachers ' discursive skills students? The literacy practices generated from the network, as phenomenon, or dimensional studies requires that we provide background to improve levels of literacy development academic future teachers . The Chilean experience in initial teacher training for the recent years , points out that there is a communicative interaction students important material and knowledge obtained from the Internet , in the context of different subjects that make up the university curriculum teaching careers .
