Abstract
Component Standards and Guidelines for initial teacher training seeks to define what we all graduated from an education career should know and be able to do, reflecting the depth and complexity of teaching and emphasizing those aspects that are essential and critical to the effectiveness of the task teacher. The purpose of these standards is to clarify, first, what every teacher should know and be able to do in the classroom, and on the other, professional attitudes to be developed from its formation as a professor of Early Childhood Education, Primary and Secondary. The reference standards are a useful and necessary for the teacher training institutions, as show through the knowledge and skills that graduates should be able to teach their students. On the other hand, are a benchmark for future teachers, since they facilitate monitoring that they can make their own learning processes.
