Abstract

A new species was identified in the Juan Fernandez Archipelago: Platymera gaudichaudii (Decapoda, Calappidae), increasing its known geographical distribution for the Southern Hemisphere. We present a diagnosis of this species and update the taxonomic status of three other decapods in this archipelago.
