Abstract

The unrestrained increase of speed in our cities is pushing human beings away from quietness, their territory, their place. A reflection between various dichotomies is opened: eternal and ephemeral, pilgrim and roving, static and ecstatic, place and no-place. And though existence is the possibility to be out of where one is, it becomes necessary to revalue a balance between no-place and place, between movement and quietness.
