Abstract

This study was done in Cerro Bandera, Puerto. Williams (55 degrees S) Chile. Vascular plants and mosses of the study area were identified. The distribution patterns of the vascular plants and mosses among a northern and southern slope and among microhabitats were assessed. A total of 52 species were identified, of which 34 were mosses and 18 were vascular plants. Also the microhabitats preferences were very different between mosses and vascular plants.
