INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION, CANNIBALISM AND CANNIBALIZING CALIBAN IN LATIN AMERICA

Browne, Rodrigo.

Abstract

Cannibalism is a new way of subjectivity that escapes from identity politics, releases intercultural communications, gets out of order social rules, encourages hybrid, mixed race and Creole forms in America and soften experimentation of improvisations to create new territories and their maps. The author claims the intercultural nature of contemporary Latin America thinking, previous to recent incorporation of this idea among western scholars.
