Abstract

The model of two-photon lasing in the multimode resonator where two possible types of losses are analyzed: one-photon and two-photon loss processes, is discussed. The master equation for density operator of cavity field is proposed. The analytical and numerical solutions for master equation are found. Also the Fokker-Planck equation for the model is discussed, proposing the solution of it. It is shown that the decreasing of one-photon resonator losses comparatively to two-photon losses leads to enhancing of second order coherence in the emitted light. The coherent properties of biphotons depending on the parameter of resonator modes are studied. It is shown, that with increasing of number of conjugated modes the intensity of two-photon generation and speed of initiation of lasing increase for the case of two-photon losses in the resonator.
