Abstract

Within Tsallis generalized thermostatistics, the grand canonical ensemble is derived for quantum systems. In particular, the generalized Fermi-Dirac, Bose-Einstein and MaxwellÐBoltzmann statistics are deÞned. The behavior of the chemical potential is depicted as a function of the temperature. Some thermodynamic quantities at high and low temperature are studied as well
